We have recently launched a ‘Window Grilles Appeal’. Thank you to all those who have donated. So far we have raised almost £1,000 towards the £6,500 cost.

Shrublands Foodbank

These are the items required for the food bank this month. They are also desperate for strong carrier bags. Donations can be left at the back of church, at the vicarage, taken to the food bank (Mondays 9am-12 noon or Thursdays 12 noon-3pm) or left in the donation box at the Shirley co-op.

Woodside Bereavement Service

‘Woodside Bereavement Service is a local charity based in Croydon which provides counselling services for people struggling with their bereavement and loss. We are looking for committed Christians with an interest in this area to join our Board of Trustees who guide and support the Service. We need two or three people of all ages and backgrounds. If you are skilled or experienced in the areas of finance, marketing, fundraising or wellbeing or want to take your first step at Board level please email Linda Nicholas, Chair, ([email protected]) with a short testimonial setting out why you are interested and what skills you will bring. You will then be contacted for an informal chat.

We need someone who is able to take on the role of Secretary as well as general trustees, attending not less than three meetings a year.’
