C. Entering the Garden of Remembrance you will see a row of ornamental cherry trees down the centre of the Garden. Around the bench to your left are various plants, some with Biblical connections: Christmas Rose, a Pomegranate tree, thought by some to bear the fruit plucked and eaten by Eve in the Garden of Eden. Also Lenten Lily and Globe Thistles. A small hedge of fragrant Lavender bushes separates the memorial stone tablets where ashes of the deceased are buried, from the memorial headstones of burials. Move to the top corner and turn left into the main churchyard to find the next QR marker.
