This weekend sees the big screen return to St John’s. We have two films to entertain you.
At 14:30 we are showing the family friendly nativity! A fun film featuring a primary school preparing for the annual nativity show.
At 19:30 The Phantom comes to St John’s. This classic film will be fantastic in the environment of the church.
Please come and join in the fun. Tickets available online and on the door.

We were very privileged to welcome Hilary, former chaplain at the Croydon University Hospital, to lead our meditations for Advent. We were able to spend time reflecting on how wholly present in our earthly lives is our incarnate God.
Awaken us, Lord
To your presence in the ordinary,
Open our eyes
To the wonder of your incarnation.
May the Lord make us ready for his coming in glory
This Sunday continues the preparation for the birth of Jesus. Our advent 2 celebrations are at the usual times of 8 and 10 am tomorrow morning.

Thanks to everyone that helped make our Christmas fair a really fantastic day.
Our church will be open from 11am tomorrow for our Christmas Fair.
We have been busy today preparing the church. Here are some photos of some of the team preparinmg for all you visitors.
Santa will be arriving at 11am so be sure to bring the children to see the big guy.








This Sunday (1st December) we have our Advent Sequence.
It’s a lovely service and if you’ve not been to an Advent Sequence before why not come along, we’re a friendly bunch!
The church will be open from 8 to 9:30 tomorrow for Take Time for God. Why not pop in and say a prayer for those who need it.

For those of you unable to make it here are a few pictures. It was a fantastic evening. Many thanks to all the performers who gave there time for free and for all those involved in the arranging of the evening.
