Join us for a day of worship and workshops. The Rt Revd Karowei Dorgu, the Bishop of Woolwich, will preside, and the Revd Les Isaac, founder of the Ascension Trust and Street Pastors, will preach.
There will be workshops on Business, Science and the Arts and more information on the Southwark Anti-Racism Charter.
The Spirituality Day features the Ven Justine Allain Chapman, who is the Archdeacon of Boston and author of The Resilient Disciple, which draws on her experience in the desert. She will be speaking on Wells of Salvation: resilience in desert places.
Justine’s talk will come in the context of meditations, prayers and sung worship. It will feature oboe player Amy Roberts, writer and broadcaster Nick Mayhew-Smith, members of the choir of Southwark Cathedral, and Bishop Christopher reflecting on finding joy in your salvation.
